13 жовтня 2018 року до свята Покрови Пресвятої Богородиці, Дня захисника України й Дня Українського козацтва відбулось масштабне еколого-патріотичне свято, під час якого було здійснено зариблення озера Небреж.
У 1991 році в Києві було 486 водойм. Сьогодні їх залишилося трохи більше 370. На балансі у КП «Плесо» перебувають 112 водойм, ще 150 водних об’єктів у природно-заповідному фонді, а всі інші безхазяйні. У столиці лише 4% водойм мають паспорти, решта не мають чітко визначених юридично обґрунтованих меж. Тому їх безжально засипають, забудовують, перетворюють на несанкціоновані звалища.
Впродовж багатьох років водоймами ніхто не займається, здійснюються лише заходи щодо прибирання прибережної території, що, безсумнівно, для повноцінного життя водойми недостатньо. 90% столичних озер вимагають комплексного підходу щодо їх відновлення. Тому для них передусім важливим отримати допомогу від позабюджетних і громадських організацій.
За рекомендацією вчених, для здійснення біологічної меліорації та відновлення популяцій риби, 13 жовтня 2018 року у 12:00 в озеро Небреж було випущено понад 5 тонн молоді риби. Кошти на зариблення надано ТОВ «БУДЕВОЛЮЦІЯ». Випуск риби здійснювався в рамках розробленого Проекту позабюджетних робіт по комплексному відродженню озера Небреж.
У зарибленні взяли участь діти місцевих середніх шкіл. Під час зариблення Міжрегіональний центр наукових досліджень та експертиз провів пізнавальний «Зелений урок», який дав можливість показати дітям надзвичайну красу природи. Іхтіологи Асоціації рибалок України познайомили їх з багатим водним миром з метою виховання дбайливого ставлення до природних багатств рідного краю. Діти взяли участь в конкурсах, іграх, в творчих майстернях.

On October 13, 2018, on the occasion of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Day of the Defender of Ukraine and the Day of the Ukrainian Cossacks, a large-scale environmental and patriotic event was held, during which the Nebrezh Lake was stocked with fish.
In 1991, there were 486 reservoirs in Kyiv. Today, there are just over 370 left. Pleso owns 112 water bodies, another 150 are in the nature reserve fund, and all the rest are ownerless. In the capital, only 4% of water bodies have passports, while the rest do not have clearly defined legally justified boundaries. Therefore, they are ruthlessly filled in, built up, and turned into unauthorized landfills.
For many years, no one has been taking care of the reservoirs, only cleaning the coastal area, which is undoubtedly not enough for the full life of the reservoir. 90% of the capital’s lakes require a comprehensive approach to their restoration. That is why it is crucial for them to get help from non-budgetary and public organizations.
On the recommendation of scientists, more than 5 tons of young fish were released into Lake Nebrezh on October 13, 2018 at 12:00 to carry out biological reclamation and restore fish populations. The funds for the stocking were provided by BUDEVOLUTION LLC. The fish release was carried out as part of the developed project of extra-budgetary work on the comprehensive revival of Lake Nebrezh.
Children from local secondary schools took part in the stocking. During the stocking, the Interregional Center for Scientific Research and Expertise held an informative “Green Lesson” to show children the extraordinary beauty of nature. Ichthyologists of the Ukrainian Fishermen’s Association introduced them to the rich aquatic world to foster a careful attitude to the natural resources of their native land. The children took part in competitions, games, and creative workshops.
